In this passage, we have seen Jesus as a man's nature. He was in the wilderness for forty days without food, which made his body vulnerable. We know that the majority of the effects of hunger and stress affect the functioning of the brain that determines decision making. This is exactly what happens to Jesus while he was in the wilderness for forty days.

Devil from the word "diabolos" which means false accusers/slanderer.

Multiple questions and responses have appeared and lingered in his mind as he moves.

Questions:
"If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become "bread" (v3)
"I will give you all their authority and splendor, if you worship me, it will all be yours." (v6)
"If you are the son of God, "he said, throw yourself down from here." (v9)
Responses:
"Man shall not live by bread alone." (v4)
"Worship the Lord your God and serve him only." (v8)
"Do not put the Lord your God to the test." (v12)
"Jesus possessed the Spirit (God's power) and could transform anything into what he desired. But why chose to postponed gratification? Why did Jesus chose to do things this way?"
