Preparing for Baptism: The God of the Bible

Updated: Sep 13, 2021

Revelation of God:

1 Tim 3:16: "And without controversy great is the [a]mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. "

Dom is going to emphasize everything about God today. Before deciding on preparation for baptism, it is always necessary to grasp the essentials. It is our privilege, not our job, as humans, to understand where we came from and how it all began.

God has already prepared a plan for us humans. He promised that he would soon establish a kingdom, and that anybody who merited to join the temple would be able to do so. He also promised that He would anoint the king who would rule in the future kingdom. And if the kingdom has a king, it must also have people/inhabitants. Our key syllabus to study and master is to follow the strict rules taught to us by God in the Bible. We listen and learn the commandments, and after we are comfortable with them, we begin to share them with others.

God's promises as the Supreme Well-Being, which will undoubtedly manifest in the kingdom, are as follows:

  1. Eternal Life

  2. Abundance

  3. Grace

  4. Healing

  5. Perfect Divination

  6. Crown of Glory, and others

These are the very reasons why believers, despite the many difficulties they have faced, continue to strive. It's the prize that has the power to motivate us all.

We will all learn about His nature, character, thinking, and purpose in this context. These situations also teach us how to completely know and comprehend the genuine God.

Goodness and Severity of God

Paul describes these two aspects of the almighty's character as the "goodness and severity of God"

“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”

Rom 11:22

To obtain all of these benefits, we must all return to the beginning of the context: we must all first know God!

Jud 1:25: "...to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen"
