Jesus Christ's Death and Resurrection

Bro Joemarie Arellano

In the beginning, everything was dark and deformed, no discernible shape and color and there was no light. Brother Joemarie demonstrated how the world has changed into a place where people are free to live and grow in God's paradise. “It was good!” He said.

The Bible, as witnessed, said that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void…”

Everything is fascinating, and it was gentle and tranquil. Humans have complete freedom to live their lives and can have anything they choose. There is no indication of scarcity. Until human spoilt everything that is in there.

Man was made in God’s image

Take a look at the things that God has made in this world. What was the point of His existence? And where do we fit in with all of this? We are made in His image, not His likeness, it appears. No, not yet.

In fact, It’s so admirable! To have a part of yourself that is connected to His vital nature. Let us constantly remind ourselves of those things. It's a gift we can always boast of to others. However, living in His image necessitates living in His character, and that is when the challenge comes in.

Man chose his own path

“And the LORD God took the man, and out him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” Gen 2:15

In the time of Adam and Eve, God primarily have observed that everything is great and has good results. Until one day, man chose his own path, and followed his own ways. We've all sinned, and we've all inherited the flesh that causes sin. There are no exceptions, thus no one should make their own excuses. Anyone who breaks the law is responsible for paying a consequence.

God is enraged when people committed sin and forget their own spiritual principle, but He never ceases in offering us all hope. Our brother speaker emphasized that all of us who have fallen away from our spiritual principle have another hope to enjoy.

“But God, who is rich in mercy; for His great love with which He loved us (even when we were dead in sins) has made us always together with Christ (by grace you are saved)” Ephesians 2:4-5

Why did Jesus have to die? Why does he need to be resurrected in the first place?
