Bohol is such a beautiful destination to visit in order to strengthen relations with our beloved Brethrens, and friends as well as to engage in fruitful Bible studies.

Despite the unexpected circumstances we have all faced over recent months, God's grace has been present for us in a variety of ways. The Bible Education Center (BEC) has always been grateful to all of the brothers and sisters who have assisted us financially and spiritually. Bohol was one of the provinces in Mindanao that was severely impacted by Typhoon Odette last year. The BEC team did not hesitate to assist our fellow brothers and sisters who were affected by
the typhoon, sending two of our committee from Valencia to assess the situation and provide urgent financial assistance to the families affected.
"Distance is not a hindrance" in our desire to preach the gospel, encourage our members living in relative isolation. To visit Candijay requires an arduous 40-minute trip from the coastal road by motorbike up rough mountain roads or a 90 minute hike!
With the help of the brothers and sisters in Candijay, we were also able to organize a one- day seminar in the house of Bro. and Sis Marife Gule. Some of the residents were invited and spent the entire day with us at the seminar.
A memorial meeting concluded activities on our last day together, and Bro. Allan was given the right hand of fellowship, together with a new Bible and Bible Companion to help him and his family study and meditate on God's word. Plans are already underway for further visits in coming months.
