We cannot deny the fact that we are facing troubles or problems in life. Our last exhortation talks about “What we are focusing on”. Our Focus should be in the household of God. The bible tells us the importance of “RENEWING OUR MINDS” to be aligned and focus with positivity and God’s will for our lives.
A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession –THE ISRAELITES, these people as they journey to the promised land experienced several challenges. This journey is not an easy one, same as we are. But we’ve learned and motivated from Joshua and Caleb's courage and faithfulness, they “RENEWED THEIR MINDS” and God strengthen them. They faced GIANTS in the land (Number 13:28) but their Trust and LOVE of God remain. Same as we are, we are going to face giants. We need to “RENEW our MINDS as Caleb and Joshua because God is BIGGER than the Giants in the land. Remember Romans 8:39 says “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
