Bro. Albert’s Visit to Bicol: Fellowship, Encouragement & Ongoing Plans

In our previous issue, we shared the uplifting pastoral visit of Bro. Albert to the Bicol Ecclesia—an experience filled with warm fellowship and renewed commitment to Bible learning.
One of the key outcomes of this visit was the proposal to start a First Principles Class via Zoom, which will enable both young people and older brethren in Bicol to continue their spiritual growth despite geographical distance. Bro. Albert is currently coordinating schedules and finalizing plans to make this initiative accessible to all interested participants.
Recently, the region faced a severe trial as Typhoon Uwan, one of the strongest storms to strike the Philippines this year, brought widespread destruction across Daet. Uprooted trees, damaged homes, and prolonged power outages affected many communities.
By God’s mercy, no brethren were harmed. However, two families suffered significant losses. Bro. Nick lost his small home, while Sis. Thess from Awitan experienced major damage to her residence. Photos of the aftermath were shared with the BEC Committee, and Bro. Albert encouraged Bro. Gary to seek assistance through ACBM.
Despite the challenges, we give thanks for God’s protection and continue to uphold these families in our prayers.
A Spiritually Uplifting Visit to Bataan

Accompanied by his supportive wife, Sis. Eleanor, and their children, Bro. Albert traveled six hours to visit the Bataan Ecclesia, a small but deeply dedicated community of believers.
The weekend was filled with heartfelt fellowship and meaningful studies. Bro. Albert led two encouraging sessions:
Abraham & Sarah: Embracing the Covenant Blessing
Isaac: Overcoming Fear
These studies inspired deep reflection and encouraged many young people to seek additional opportunities for spiritual growth and Bible study.
A highlight of the visit was the joyful presence of brethren Richard Iniego and Retson Madriaga, together with Sis. Sheryl, their children, and Rian, a candidate for baptism. Their return brought tremendous encouragement to the ecclesia.
Plans were also put in motion to reconnect with inactive members and revive the Bataan group chat, including the Madriaga family.
Another exciting development was the proposal for a weekly online Preparing for Baptism Class every Friday at 7:00 PM. Bro. Albert will lead the sessions, with support from Bros. Jodel, Michael, Joshua, and Jonifer. The class will be open to young people from Bicol, QCE, CDO, Mailag, Kalilangan, and other ecclesias.
The visit also brought encouragement through the faithful attendance of the Inocencio family. Sis. Marymae regularly attends with her two daughters, while Bro. Jezreel, who works at Jollibee, personally requested Sunday schedule adjustments so he could attend memorial meetings.
Such dedication is truly inspiring.
Cabangahan Sunday School Shelter: A Growing Hub of Learning

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
The Sunday School Shelter in Cabangahan, supported by the Bible Education Center, is nearing completion and is already being actively used.
Beyond serving as a safe and dedicated place for Sunday School classes, the facility now hosts Bible seminars for parents led by Bro. Michael Alesna.
Its rapid development into a vibrant learning and outreach center has been a tremendous blessing. Plans are underway to install an official BEC project sign, add interior partitions, and continue improving the facility to maximize its impact on the local community.
This project demonstrates the importance of investing in the next generation and creating welcoming spaces where families can learn and grow together in God's Word.
University Seminar / CMU Outreach: A Growing Harvest

The university outreach continues to gain momentum thanks to the dedication of brothers and sisters studying in various institutions.
Led by Bros. Michael and Jonifer, the outreach team regularly conducts Bible studies across campus, often meeting students in open sheds and common areas where meaningful conversations naturally begin.
Recent sessions have shown increasing student engagement, with many expressing genuine interest in the Scriptures.
Photos from the outreach capture a vibrant atmosphere of learning, fellowship, and renewed curiosity about God's Word. We pray that these efforts will continue to bear fruit and lead more people toward a deeper understanding of the Gospel.
The Newly Renovated BEC Cagayan de Oro: A Warm Home for the Gospel

We are excited to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Bible Education Center in Cagayan de Oro after nearly two months of construction.
The refreshed center now features:
A wider layout
Comfortable new furniture
A dedicated coffee area
Improved spaces for fellowship and Bible study
These enhancements have created a warm and inviting environment where students and visitors feel at home.
The first Bible study held in the renovated center was led by Bro. John Elton from Australia and attended by university students who greatly appreciated the new facilities.
Since reopening, new visitors—particularly students—have been dropping by regularly, making the BEC a bustling center for fellowship and Scripture-focused conversations.
Preparations for Summer Bible Camp 2026

Preparations for the Summer Bible Camp 2026 are now in full swing.
This highly anticipated gathering is expected to welcome more than 250 brothers and sisters from across the Philippines, together with overseas visitors from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States.
The camp will once again be held at Alta Resort, the same venue used for last year's Youth Camp. The location is fondly remembered for its peaceful surroundings, spacious facilities, and opportunities for meaningful fellowship.
Our invited speakers, Bro. Adam Byrnes and Bro. Darren Tappouras from Australia, will lead the main studies throughout the camp.
In addition to spiritual instruction, participants can look forward to:
Recreational activities
A one-day tour
Kingdom Night
Choir presentations
Sunday School performances
Yaka (Songs and Praise)
During the visit, eight Sunday School Prize Giving events will also take place across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, encouraging young people in their Bible learning and spiritual development.
Preaching efforts will continue through Bible seminars in Argao, Cebu and Valencia City, providing further opportunities for people to hear the Gospel message.
A special highlight of the season will be the wedding of Sis. Shine and Bro. Aldrin on April 8, immediately following the Summer Camp in Cagayan de Oro.
Registration is now open through ecclesial representatives. We encourage everyone to register early and join this uplifting week of fellowship, study, and service.
Kalilangan Ecclesia Updates

The Kalilangan Ecclesia has experienced significant growth and encouragement in recent months.
Approximately fifteen brothers and sisters from Kilikili have joined the ecclesia, increasing the membership to nearly sixty. This merger has strengthened fellowship and deepened the sense of unity among the brethren.
Under the caring leadership of Bro. Ernesto Facun, the ecclesia has warmly welcomed the new members, reflecting the spirit of Christian love and togetherness.
Bro. Jonifer Natividad continues leading Home Bible Studies, helping families deepen their understanding of God's Word. Meanwhile, Sis. Mary Joy Facun faithfully oversees the Sunday School program, nurturing the spiritual growth of the younger generation.
Despite traveling approximately thirty minutes to attend meetings, the Kilikili brethren consistently demonstrate remarkable dedication and commitment.
Kalilangan is also blessed with the largest ecclesial hall in the Philippines, providing a spacious and welcoming environment for worship, study, and fellowship.
Many of the new members hope to attend the Summer Bible Camp, where relationships can continue to grow and spiritual bonds can be strengthened.
This season of growth serves as a beautiful reminder of God's goodness and faithfulness.
