Mailag Hall Renovation Update

Construction of the new Mailag Ecclesial Hall in Valencia, Bukidnon by the Bible Education Center (BEC) is steadily progressing, bringing the project closer to completion. This development marks an important milestone for the local ecclesia, providing badly needed expanded and dedicated facilities for worship, Memorial Meetings, Bible studies, Sunday School, fellowship, and other activities that will support this growing Ecclesia. Upon completion, the new hall will feature accommodation rooms for BEC-endorsed field workers and visiting brethren. These enhanced facilities will provide greater capacity to host leadership seminars, youth gatherings, Sunday School work, and other Ecclesial programs, fostering a more conducive environment for spiritual growth and fellowship The BEC gratefully acknowledges all who are supporting this project through their prayers, generosity, and encouragement.

SUNDAY SCHOOL Year Begins

Following the successful Sunday School Orientation, the commencement of a new Sunday School year marks another exciting season of learning and new initiatives. The BEC has once again distributed newly developed Sunday School workbooks adapted from the Australian Christadelphian Sunday School Union. The BEC is currently blessed with 60 dedicated Sunday School teachers who faithfully serve 510 students in 21 Sunday School areas throughout the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Present enrollment includes 79 students in Luzon, 83 in Cebu, 50 in Bohol, 30 in Cagayan de Oro, 120 in the Mailag areas, 18 in Bicol, and 130 in Kalilangan. The updated teaching materials developed by the BEC team provide teachers with comprehensive lesson plans, practical teaching guides, engaging classroom activities, and easily accessible PowerPoint presentations available through the BEC website, all carefully designed to enrich and strengthen meaningful Bible learning for the children. Lesson teaching aids are updated weekly for teachers. An annual teachers' weekend seminar assists them in enhancing their teaching skills and ensuring familiarity with the teaching aids.

Bro. Albert Cruz ecclesial visit

A 12-hour bus journey to Labo–Daet, Camarines Norte, I was blessed to reconnect with the brethren from the Labo and Awitan Ecclesias. The weekend fellowship concluded at noon, bringing together nearly all the brethren with their families, along with several interested friends. Approximately 35 attendees gathered for a joyful day of worship, learning, and fellowship. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and encouragement, creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone present. The program began with an exhortation, followed by a special Bible study. The exhortation, titled "Hold The members were" encouraged to remain steadfast in their faith despite the challenges of the world. Studies focussing on Paul’s letters to the Thessalonian Ecclesias were included to the theme "Living Like the Thessalonians in the First Century," they highlighted the faithful endurance and steadfast faith of the Ecclesia as well as their loving care for the Apostle Paul despite their trials .All were encouraged to likewise endure life’s trials. The members participated attentively throughout the sessions, many sharing how much they appreciated the studies. They expressed that the messages strengthened their faith, renewed their courage, and encouraged them to continue serving God faithfully. The program concluded with a delicious lunch lovingly prepared by the sisters, providing another opportunity for the brethren and visitors to enjoy warm fellowship together.

House Visits

As part of the visit, we had the opportunity to visit several brethren who have been absent from ecclesial fellowship for many years, including Bro. Miguel, who has been away from the ecclesia for more than 20 years, as well as the family of Bro. Boy Mago. These visits provided meaningful opportunities for encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual conversation. We are thankful for the warm reception we received and pray that these renewed connections will, God willing, encourage them to continue drawing closer to Him and to the ecclesial family. We were also blessed to spend time with Sis. Agnes and Sis. Vicky, whose kindness and hospitality were deeply appreciated. They lovingly prepared lunch for us and generously contributed food for the ecclesial fellowship meal. Their willingness to serve was a wonderful expression of Christian love and care, adding to the joy and unity shared throughout the day.

Bible Class with Teenagers @ Bro. Gary & Sis. Lyn’s House

During the weekend a special Bible study was held at the home of Bro. Gary and Sis. Lyn Sayno, with 11 teenagers in attendance. The young people listened attentively throughout the session and participated enthusiastically, asking thoughtful questions during the discussion and Q&A. Their eagerness to learn and their genuine interest in God's Word were both encouraging and inspiring, reflecting a growing desire to deepen their understanding  of the Scriptures. Following the study, Sis. Lyn kindly prepared snacks for everyone, providing a further opportunity for fellowship and conversation. The Sayno family faithfully opens their home every Saturday for these Bible classes, offering a welcoming environment where young people can grow in their knowledge of God's Word. Their dedication, hospitality, and commitment to supporting the spiritual development of the youth continue to be a great blessing to the ecclesia.

Luzon sunday school Update

The Bible Education Center (BEC) continues to play a vital role in supporting Sunday School ministries across the Philippines by providing educational resources, classroom materials, and practical assistance to help ecclesias nurture the next generation in God's Word.

In Bicol, immediately following the Memorial Meeting, Sister Agnes and the Sunday School teachers joyfully commenced their first Sunday School class. The teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the BEC for supplying the newly developed Sunday School workbooks and teaching materials, which were delivered through Brother Albert. These resources have equipped the teachers with valuable tools to provide engaging, well-structured, and Christ-centered Bible lessons for their students. Meanwhile, in Teresa, Rizal, the Bible Education Center also provided financial support for the establishment and improvement of their Sunday School classroom. Brother Jojo and Sister Cora successfully purchased the essential teaching materials, along with new chairs and tables, creating a more welcoming and comfortable learning environment for the children. The only remaining item to be acquired is a storage box for the classroom resources. Their first Sunday School class was held last Saturday, and the ecclesia was delighted to welcome a larger number of students than expected. As well as the QC Ecclesia, happily started the Sunday School with the newly provided materials. The increase in attendance was a joyful encouragement, demonstrating the growing interest among young people in learning the Scriptures. With additional funds still available through the support of the Bible Education Center, the teachers have been able to purchase extra chairs to accommodate the continuing growth of the classes.

Visayas & Mindanao Sunday School Update

The enthusiasm for Sunday School has also been evident throughout the Visayas. In Cebu, dedicated Sunday School teachers warmly welcomed students as classes officially began, led by Brother Gian and other dedicated brethren from Argao Ecclesia, continuing their commitment to teaching God's Word to the next generation. Likewise, in Ubay, Bohol, Sunday School classes commenced under the leadership of Sister Juvy, together with the faithful support of the local brethren, who continue to serve wholeheartedly in nurturing young Bible students. Across Mindanao, the Sunday School ministry has likewise begun with great encouragement. In Cagayan de Oro, the Malingin Beach Sunday School opened under the leadership of Brother Joshua Khu, together with Bible Education Center Students who willingly participated in the preaching activity and assisted in teaching the children. Their enthusiasm to serve reflected the importance of involving young brethren in the work of preaching and spiritual education. Further into Bukidnon, several Sunday School areas also commenced classes through the faithful efforts of the brethren from the Mailag Ecclesia, who continue to support the development of children in the Truth. In Kalilangan, the ecclesia likewise resumed its Sunday School ministry in Purok Kapon and Several other Sunday School areas, with dedicated brethren faithfully leading classes and sharing the hope of the gospel with young learners and their families. These encouraging developments demonstrate the continuing growth of the Sunday School work throughout the Philippines. Through the faithful partnership between the Bible Education Center and local ecclesias, hundreds of children are being reached with the gospel each week. BEC remains committed to equipping teachers, supporting preaching efforts, and providing quality educational resources that help build a strong biblical foundation for the next generation. As this important work continues, we pray that God will bless every teacher, student, and ecclesia involved, and that many more hearts will be drawn to the saving message of His Word.

CDO Christadelphian Youth Circle and Ecclesial Activity

On 26 July 2026, the Patag Christadelphian Ecclesia in Cagayan de Oro City successfully hosted its Christadelphian Youth Circle (CYC) and Ecclesial Day, bringing together brethren of all ages for a day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement under the inspiring theme, "Look Up", based on Luke 21:28: The program commenced with a Daily Readings commentary and discussion, setting a thoughtful tone for the day. Throughout the event, participants were spiritually enriched through three Bible-based meditation sessions presented by local brethren. Brother Robert Merida opened with "Look Up," encouraging the brethren to keep their focus on God and His promises. Brother Jeric Mangino followed with "Looking Up," emphasizing the importance of maintaining faith and hope while awaiting Christ's return. The final meditation, "What Are You Looking For?" delivered by Brother Dom Soriano Jr., challenged everyone to examine their priorities and seek first the Kingdom of God.In addition to the spiritual sessions, the day featured fellowship over a shared ecclesial meal, interactive games, musical presentations, and opportunities for meaningful conversations that strengthened the bonds of love and unity among the brethren. The gathering concluded with the Memorial Meeting. presided over by Brother Franklin Basa, with the exhortation delivered by Brother Joshua Khu, reminding the ecclesia to Rise Up brighter as the sun, in the hope of Christ's soon return. The success of the activity reflects the dedication of the CDO Ecclesia in opportunities for both young people and the wider Ecclesia to grow Spiritually together. The event served as a timely reminder to continually "look up" with hope, knowing that our redemption draws near.
