Diliman Sunday School Prize Giving

Prior to the Camp

Before the Summer Camp began, our visitors first experienced warm fellowship with the brethren at QCE Ecclesia. They joined the Memorial Meeting to remember the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

An exhortation was given by Bro. Adam Byrnes about the "Hyssop," while Bro. Nat Mansfield shared a study about Miriam the Prophetess.

A Joyful Start in Fellowship

The visitors also witnessed the Sunday School Prize Giving, a joyful and meaningful occasion that demonstrated the love and unity within the Quezon City Ecclesia, especially among the young ones learning God's Word.

It was truly a blessed and encouraging start to the Summer Bible Camp 2026 journey.

Argao, Cebu Sunday School Prize Giving

Continuing the Journey in Visayas

After Luzon, the visitors traveled to the Visayas and visited Argao Ecclesia.

A Bible Seminar was conducted with more than 40 invited guests who responded to flyers distributed throughout the town. Bro. Adam Byrnes and Bro. Nat Mansfield spoke about Jesus Christ and the signs of His coming, encouraging many listeners.

Joyful Experiences in Argao

The visitors also enjoyed swimming with whale sharks, a wonderful reminder of God's magnificent creation.

Another Sunday School Prize Giving was held, where many students from the mountain areas traveled down to participate. Some young people visited the mountain communities and experienced local products, including fresh buko.

The group also enjoyed lechon for dinner, making the fellowship even more joyful and memorable.

Family Summer Bible Camp 2026

The Summer Bible Camp 2026 officially began at Alta Cebu with more than 300 attendees.

Under the theme "Alive in Christ, Our Living Hope," participants were encouraged to grow in faith and hope. The messages delivered by Bro. Adam Byrnes and Bro. Darren Tappouras deeply touched many hearts and strengthened everyone’s walk in Christ.

Growing Together Through Meaningful Fellowship

One of the most meaningful activities during the camp was the Group Discussion sessions.

These discussions provided opportunities for participants to share lessons learned from the speakers and studies. Local brothers and sisters were also able to explain key points in their own dialects, making the lessons clearer, more personal, and easier to understand.

Building Christlike Character Through Games and Sports

The Sports Committee organized various games and sports activities for all participants.

The emphasis was not on competition but on developing Christlike qualities such as teamwork, patience, humility, kindness, and cooperation. Through these simple activities, participants learned practical lessons about following the example of Jesus Christ.

Yaka Night: A Joyful Offering of Praise

Yaka Night was organized by the Young People, Musicians, and Choir Committee.

Brethren joined together in singing and praising God with joyful hearts. A special highlight of the evening was the participation of Bro. Philip Rosser, a composer and songwriter, who shared his musical gifts with the camp.

It was a wonderful evening of praise, worship, and unity.

Kingdom Night: A Commitment to the Eternal Crown

One of the most touching moments of the camp was Kingdom Night.

During this special event, participants symbolically placed their crowns as a reminder of the crown of righteousness promised to the faithful.

It served as a commitment to continue running the race of faith together and remaining faithful until the return of Christ. The evening was both emotional and spiritually uplifting for everyone present.

Little Hearts, Big Faith: Sunday School Activities

Special Sunday School activities were prepared for the children attending the camp.

Meaningful lessons were conducted for both the Primary/Junior and Intermediate classes, helping the children understand God's Word in a simple, engaging, and enjoyable way.

The children also participated in arts and crafts activities while the plenary sessions were ongoing.

It was a joyful and fruitful time as the young ones learned, participated, and grew in their knowledge and love of the Scriptures.

Rejoicing in New Life: The Joy of Baptism

A major highlight of the camp was the baptism of fifteen candidates.

After successfully completing their interviews and publicly confessing their faith, they were baptized and added to God's family.

The entire camp rejoiced together as they witnessed these precious individuals begin their new lives in Christ.

A Day of Joy and Fellowship: Recreation Time

Participants enjoyed a day of recreation with two excursion options:

  • Cebu Ocean Park

  • Cebu Safari and Adventure Park

This refreshing break allowed brethren to appreciate God's creation while strengthening friendships and fellowship outside the regular camp activities.

Continuing in Fellowship: A Blessed Visit to Mindanao

Following the spiritually enriching Summer Bible Camp, the visitors continued their journey to Mindanao.

They were warmly welcomed by the brethren in the Cagayan de Oro Ecclesia.

One of the first activities was the Sunday School Prize Giving held at Malingin Beach. Many of the children who participated came from humble backgrounds, yet their joy and enthusiasm were clearly evident.

The children presented:

  • A short dramatization of David and Goliath

  • Action songs

  • Memory verse recitations

The visitors also attended the wedding of Sis. Shine and Bro. Aldrin, a joyful celebration of love and commitment before God.

The visit concluded with a Bible Study in Cagayan de Oro, where Bro. Adam, Bro. Darren, and Bro. Isaac encouraged the brethren through studies focused on First Principles and the Kingdom of God.

Strengthening the Work in Bukidnon: A Visit to Mailag Ecclesia

The group then visited Mailag Ecclesia in Bukidnon.

A Bible Seminar was held at McDonald's Valencia City with more than fifty invited guests in attendance.

Bro. Adam Byrnes and Bro. Nat Mansfield presented studies about Jesus Christ and the signs of His coming. Many attendees submitted thoughtful questions and expressed genuine interest in learning more.

Joyful Talents and Blessed Fellowship

The visitors also attended Sunday School Prize Giving programs involving more than sixty children from the Cabangahan and Mailag communities.

The children showcased their talents through acting presentations and other activities.

The day concluded with a Bible Study and a delicious dinner lovingly prepared by the sisters.

United in Fellowship: A Blessed Time in Kalilangan

The group continued their journey to Kalilangan Ecclesia.

A picnic and fellowship gathering were held at a local resort, providing an opportunity for brethren to enjoy one another's company and strengthen relationships.

The visitors also attended a combined Sunday School Prize Giving involving three different Sunday Schools, with many students participating.

A Meaningful Closing in Christ

The visitation concluded with a Memorial Meeting exhorted by Bro. John Elton.

His message reminded everyone of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the hope we have in Him, providing a fitting and meaningful conclusion to the journey.

A Journey of Faith, Fellowship, and Hope
