SUMMER BIBLE CAMP NEWS
Some of the photo highlights from our recent summer Bible Camp and the pre and post activities we've undertaken in the service of the Lord.

Arrival of our Visitors
Upon their arrival, our visitors were greeted with open arms and warm hospitality by the members of Quezon City Ecclesia.
Their first day was filled with meaningful moments of spiritual nourishment and connection. They gathered together for a time of exhortation, led by Bro. Adam Byrnes. His words of wisdom and encouragement uplifted our spirits and strengthened our faith as we reflected on the teachings of Christ.

Following the exhortation, our visitors had the opportunity to witness the Sunday School in action. It was a delight to see the bright faces of our young learners as they engaged in lessons and activities designed to deepen their understanding of God's word.
Pre Summer Bible Camp:

Prior to the commencement of our Summer Bible Camp, we engaged in a series of Preaching activities in Cebu (Largest Island in the Visayas region). Our efforts culminated in a Bible Seminar titled "Knowing Jesus," featuring esteemed speakers Brn. Rob Oosthuzien (NZ)and Darren Tappouras (Aust). It was heartening to witness the enthusiasm of both locals and visitors as they distributed flyers to promote the Seminar. The result was a fruitful gathering, with interested friends joining us to delve deeper into the teachings of our faith. Additionally, we had the privilege of fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Cebu, where Brn. Matthew Roberts and Albert Cruz graciously led Bible Study sessions

1st Day Highlights:

Our first day at the Summer Bible Camp kicked off with a delightful Socialization night. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, eager to forge new friendships and strengthen existing bonds. Laughter filled the air as we engaged in various icebreaker activities, setting the stage for the days ahead. As part of the evening's program, we had the opportunity to introduce our own ecclesia through a minute chant.`

Praise and Kingdom Night:

The Kingdom Night of our Summer Camp was a highlight, bringing us together in a powerful expression of worship and unity. Led by our dedicated Choir members, we lifted our voices in song and praise, rejoicing in the presence of the Lord. Their commitment and passion for music have truly enriched our gatherings, and we are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts.

Envisioning the Kingdom:
One of the most impactful aspects of the evening was our collective journey through the vision of Ezekiel's Temple. Through a captivating video presentation, we were transported into the awe-inspiring realm of the Kingdom of God. As we watched the simulation unfold before us, we were reminded of our shared hope and anticipation for the fulfillment of God's promises on earth.

Lighting of the Candle:
Another touching moment during Praise and Kingdom Night was the Lighting of the Candle ceremony. The presider invited participants to close their eyes and reflect on their loved ones who have yet to embrace the truth. As we held the candles, we symbolically shared the light of God's word with one another, embodying the spirit of love and outreach that defines our faith. It was a beautiful demonstration of our collective desire to share the hope of salvation with those we hold dear.

Six Souls Baptized:
During the Summer Bible Camp, we were blessed to witness the baptism of six repentant souls, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey. It was a moment of profound significance as these individuals publicly declared their commitment to follow Christ and be washed clean in the waters of baptism.

Sunday School at our Bible Camp
One of the most enjoyable experiences during the camp for our kids was our Sunday School program, led by Sister Eleanor Cruz and supported by dedicated sisters from Australia, New Zealand, and our local Sunday School teachers. Together, they created a vibrant and engaging environment for our children. Throughout the camp, the Sunday School offered a variety of activities including arts and crafts, fun games, special presentations during the Kingdom Night, and insightful lessons tailored to our themes in the Bible Camp. It was heartening to witness the enthusiasm and involvement of the children as they participated in these activities.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6Post-Summer Bible Camp:
Cagayan de oro Visits
After the conclusion of our enriching Summer Bible Camp, our journey continued with two days of fellowship and study at Cagayan de Oro Ecclesia. It was a joyous time spent in the company of our beloved Brothers and Sisters, as we delved into the Word of God together. We were privileged to have Bro. Adam Byrnes lead us in an insightful Bible Study session focused on the theme of "Personal Identity."

Mailag Ecclesia Visits
Following our time in Cagayan de Oro, our team traveled to Mailag Ecclesia in Bukidnon, located in the Northern part of Mindanao. Here, we had the opportunity to conduct another impactful Bible Seminar, addressing the same theme as in Cebu.

It was a privilege to host the Seminar at one of the largest universities in the Philippines, where approximately 90 students responded to our invitation and engaged in fruitful discussions. Additionally, we were inspired by the ongoing efforts of the Bible Education Center (BEC), led by Bro. Michael Alesna and his team of young people , who conduct bi-monthly Campus Bible Studies at the university.

Kalilangan Visits
After our enriching time at Mailag, our team proceeded to Kalilangan Ecclesia, where we conducted another successful Bible seminar on the topic "Knowing Jesus - How He Changed the World and What It Means to You," building upon the themes explored in Cebu and CMU Seminars. The event took place at the heart of Kalilangan Town, drawing a warm and receptive audience. Our visitors from abroad were deeply touched by the hospitality extended to them by our brothers and sisters in Kalilangan.
A further highlight was the presentation of over 80 children from the Sunday School in Kilikili town, dressed in their finest who were bussed to Kalilangan Ecclesial Hall. They sung their hearts out witnessing to the Bible lessons they had been taught.

During our stay, we also organized enlightening Bible study sessions at the ecclesial hall, led by Brn Brydyn Melles and Rob Oosthuizen. Brother Melles delved into "The Mystery of the Kingdom," emphasizing the importance of living our lives as if we were already in the Kingdom of God. Meanwhile, Brother Oosthuizen discussed "The Ecclesial Life," stressing the significance of unity within the ecclesia.
Our visit concluded with an inspiring exhortation from Brother Adam Byrnes, focusing on the blessings and gifts bestowed upon us by God as the first fruits of His creation

We are grateful for your continued support and prayers as we continue our mission to spread the Word of God and strengthen our bonds with fellow believers.
Warm regards,
Working Committee and the BEC Team
